Commons in a Box is a super-framework for the BuddyPress framework, which consolidates BuddyPress, selected BuddyPress addons, and specific additional WordPress functional plugins for related feature support, to provide a single package community website. It is being adopted as a foundation framework for a coordinated containment system to aggregate and unitize all of the same functionality (community interaction facilitation), with much of the same module set I had planned to use to leverage, integrate, manage code for EATSv5, all based on BuddyPress, which reuses and rolls forward the scheme from earlier Architected Futures design activities.
See also: AF Anthologize , another Boone project, for related capabilities to be interfaced. What is being assembled, as the WP EATSv5 Workbench, is a PHP version of Capella, or a UML Modeller, that serves as a PoC for the J-Cloud versions, and a HAM Radio entry system for home hackers. Anthologize is the assembler, and adjuster, customize, for what we build as element models with the automated assembly “compilers” of the AIR models.
