VRM360 is a WordPress plugin 3D display program for OBJ files. The current URL behind the spinning wheel points to an OBJ file in a private cloud library. The spinning wheel is a demonstration of how well you are able to see the model of what is city.obj.
Attempting to upload this file to the media library so it can be access locally fails due to WordPress refusal to upload OBJ files due to “security reasons”. The “Extra File Types” plug-in is supposed to correct this behavior. If it once worked, it no longer does. It doesn’t help the load from cloud files, and it doesn’t fix the upload blocks placed by WP.
So much for that idea. The idea of working around all these issues is not why I am trying to use this framework. Sigh! You’re not supposed to complain about what you didn’t pay for, but that’s also a slap in the face to the concept of open source.
Needs to be completed. According to the doc files, we may need to package each “thing” we want to post as a VRM360 Model on the WordPress site as a ZIP file, and then point VRM360 to the zip, with any OBJ and other related elements which may make up the component set for the model embedded within the unit object of the zip file.
