AF_Shortcodes are implemented as an extension to the Shortcodes Ultimate WP plugin. The plugin is marketed as “A comprehensive collection of Visual Components for WordPress.” A unified, architected scheme for containerization of the visualization elements used in the interface. For the implementation of EATSv5, they are used to implement the architected component pattern macro language, aka DSL (Domain Specific Language), used to insert algorithmic content into HTML scripts. This provides the EATSv5 replacement for the ??copy macro capability implemented in the original DModel SAS code. It defines a visualization architecture, aka PM (Presentation Management), layer used to effect the presentation interface boundary for the human-machine interface effected by WordPress processes. The trigger words used in the macro language (DSL) that define the “macro expansion” are define by WordPress shortcodes.
The shortcodes used as language elements in the AF WP PM Space for encoding content for presentation in architected forms are shown in their functional groups below. A similar macro facility is used in the Drupal PM for architectedfutures.net.
